Bee Lovely Botanicals uses organic oils when possible, for all leave on products, such as hand cream, lip balm, moisturizer, etc.
Our honey and beeswax cannot be classified as organic. In order to do so, we would have to certify that there are no pesticides in use within a 5 mile radius of our beehives. This is nearly impossible to do in the continental US. Most organic honey (even that certified through the USDA) is imported from Brazil.
Most definitely! All the skin loving oils and anti-oxidants will help decrease the appearance of fine lines around the eyes and nourish that gentle skin. Our eye cream is specially formulated with peptides to decrease the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, as well as helping control wrinkles.
All of our products are made by hand in small batches, by us, with ingredients from our naturally treated beehives. Not only are our products made by us, they’re developed by us after years of research and trial and error. You won’t find anything like our products on the market.
Yes. Sometimes quite often, depending on the temperament of the hive.
Please see our Shipping Policy page.
We use essential oils in most of our products. A select few are scented with phthalate free fragrance oils. Some scents are not available in essential oils and some plants have been overharvested and their essential oil is rare.
We use 100% pure essential oils that are tested by GC (gas chromatograph) to ensure purity. We do not source our oils through any MLM company.
The only product that we make that contains a nut oil is our eye cream, which contains macadamia nut oil. Many of our products do contain cocoa butter and coconut oil, and many of our soaps contain shea butter as well. We are a family with food allergies, and we take these things very seriously. If you have any questions about our ingredients or a certain product, please email Jodie at firstname.lastname@example.org and she would be happy to answer any questions you have.
As stated above, we are a family with food allergies, one of them being gluten. Most of our products are naturally gluten free, and we use gluten free oats in any products that contain oatmeal.
