▼Are your products organic?: Bee Lovely Botanicals uses organic oils when possible, for all leave on products, such as hand cream, lip balm, moisturizer, etc.
Honey and beeswax cannot be classified as organic. In order to do so, we would have to certify that there are no pesticides in use within a 5 mile radius of our beehives. This is nearly impossible to do in the continental US. Most organic honey (even that certified through the USDA) is imported from Brazil.

▼What are Bee Lovely Botanicals standards for toxin-free beauty? ?: We follow stringent guidelines when formulating our products. No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, polyethylene glycol, or BPA. Our products are also free from formaldehyde donors. We use preservatives based on probiotics or a stabilized silver complex.

▼Are your products cruelty free?: Yes, all Bee Lovely Botanicals products are cruelty free.

▼Where are Bee Lovely Botanicals products made?: Bee Lovely Botanicals products are made in Michigan, in the USA. We work with other businesses in the US to source our ingredients and packaging whenever possible.

▼Are your products gluten free?: We do not use any ingredient that contains wheat in our products. Additionally, the oats we use are certified gluten free. While these products are not produced in a certified gluten free facility, our founder Jodie also has a gluten allergy, so we take this seriously.
▼Does Bee Lovely Botanicals use essential oils/ What brand do you use?: We use essential oils in most of our products. A select few are scented with phthalate free fragrance oils. Some scents are not available in essential oils and some plants have been overharvested and their essential oil is rare. We use 100% pure essential oils that are tested by GC (gas chromatograph) to ensure purity. We do not source our oils through any MLM company.

▼Do your products contain tree nut oils?: The only product that we make that contains a nut oil is our eye cream, which contains macadamia nut oil. Many of our products do contain cocoa butter and coconut oil, and many of our soaps contain shea butter as well. We are a family with food allergies, and we take these things very seriously.
